Team member, Bill McBee has been with Ardenwoods since 2011, when he joined the family as a cook. Shortly thereafter he became the Kitchen Manager in 2012. Again he was promoted in 2016 to the Food and Beverage Director. Bill has been an integral member of our team for the last five years.
Bill has lived in Asheville since 1990. Prior to his positions at Ardenwoods, Bill has worked as a Chef de Cuisine at Grove Park Inn Resort, Food Service Manager at a local natural foods grocery store, and was a chef at several Asheville restaurants. He has grown up in the food service industry, beginning by working in kitchens as early as age 15. He enjoys traveling to Europe and Asia and experiencing the different cultures and perspectives on life in our world.
